Dear Sirs, I had a brief one night stay at the hotel on the 26th November. There are many excellent things about your hotel in connection with the people working at the reception and the restaurant but the quality of the hotel interior does let you down. The hotel may have been up graded in 2003 or 2006 but too little money was spent on it. The hotel bedrooms need a significant amount spent on up grade as they are basic and not in my opinion acceptable for a 4* star rating. Also the equipment in the gym is not good and needs to be repaced. Varna needs a decent business hotel, the Tulip could be it but it lets itself down. Richard Pearce

As far as the positive items are concerned, I would mention the cleanliness of the room,the friendliness o the staff,ever ready to help.The less successful ones would be such things as a bathroom door that you can't open(but that was fixed within a quarter of an hour) ,a television programme that doesn't show all the channels displayed on the hotel document...Still our stay was overall quite pleasant,and we will gladly return,if we go to Varna again.

Business travellers will find an excellent standard hotel comparable to other big cities. The hotel is very well situated, close to the city center and offered us an great service. We stayed a few days just to start our holidays. As I am a frequent bussiness traveller I recognised the high standard but I would not spend my holidays there though. To my opinion the hotel is a typical business orientated facility.
